Our Story

We kicked off our camping adventures as laid-back tent campers more than 17 years ago, just looking for any excuse to escape the daily grind to any nearby spots we could find. And here's a fun tidbit – we actually got engaged during one of our camping trips! With our love for travel growing stronger, we eagerly jumped on every chance that came our way, starting with short weekends away and gradually extending to week-long adventures. Our journey began in tents, progressed to weekend getaways, then longer week trips, and eventually transitioned into part-time travelers. Now, for the past 2.5 years, we've fully embraced the nomadic lifestyle, hitting the road on a full-time journey around the USA in our 40ft fifth-wheel camper with our two kids, plus three dogs. And guess what? We're not planning to hit the brakes anytime soon!

Great question! Our kids are actually homeschooled, and they've been homeschooled from the get-go. They've never set foot in a public school, and transitioning from home life to life on the road in our RV was a breeze for them. We're now cruising into our 8th year of homeschooling, and one of the coolest things about RV life is that we get to connect all the places we read about in our books with real-life visits. It adds a whole new dimension to learning!

We like to keep things flexible, so we homeschool year-round and have 4-day school weeks. This setup gives us plenty of time for breaks and, of course, to explore all the fantastic places we encounter along our journey. Currently, our curriculum lineup includes The Good and the Beautiful, Apologia, Notgrass History, Teaching Textbooks, and IEW. It's a blend that seems to work really well for us!

We're living the entrepreneurial dream, but with a cool twist! Imagine this: after years of climbing the corporate ladder and contributing to someone else's grand vision, we made a bold move towards the world of entrepreneurship over 15 years ago. And here's the exciting part – we're doing it all while enjoying life on the road, cruising the country in our RV.

Our journey is this fantastic mix of business and adventure. We've crafted and nurtured multiple businesses, from when we lived in our traditional house, to the comfort of our home on wheels. The open road isn't just a backdrop; it's our office too!
